Details

This insulation provides consistent thermal performance against outdoor temperatures and helps maintain indoor temperatures. Greater thermal resistance means better temperature control. This premium product is BIBS® approved.

Features

Unbonded, virgin fibrous glass blowing insulation designed with optimal thermal properties and excellent coverage and blowing characteristics
Can be installed in a variety of R-values, ranging from R11 through R61
Can be used to dense-pack sidewalls using the drill and fill technique, common in retrofitting homes or in-home weatherization activities
Each bag contains the equivalent of over 30 recycled bottles, with a minimum of 60% post-consumer recycled glass content
Fills all gaps and voids, creating a thermal barrier against outside air and better temperature control, reducing fuel usage and utility bills
Resists heat flow with an R-value of R-15 in 2 x 4 construction, R-23 in 2 x 6 construction
Has a high degree of recycled content
Improves sound transmission class (STC) ratings by 4 to 10 points
Blows fast and smooth
Non-combustible, non-corrosive
Will not rot, mildew, or deteriorate
Doesn't settle, maintains its intended R-value over its lifetime
Free of red list chemicals and formaldehyde
